Meet Jess
I'm Jess ~ a guide, a listener, and a lifelong student of the human experience.
My path into alternative medicine work began when a friend of mine opened the conversation to sharing the magical and transformative potential behind ayahuasca. I listened to his story, and within weeks, I found myself sitting in an Acacia ceremony, also known as North African Ayahuasca. This ceremony single-handedly transformed my life overnight. The clarity of the lessons, the intensity of the visions, the strength of the emotional release; these are what drove me to immediately implement change in literally all aspects of my life.
As an avid believer in psychedelic potential, I have pursued working with plant medicines for the last four years and have found immense healing. Release from old belief systems, old ways of thinking, old ideas of myself and others. I've released years of trauma and pain that has haunted me for decades. Most recently, I've worked closely with the Shipibo-Conibo from Peru, and have sat with the Noké Koî from Brazil.
Over the years—both within myself and in the many people I’ve connected with locally and around the world—I’ve come to understand that the journey itself is not the transformation. It’s what happens after. I’ve witnessed individuals return from powerful experiences filled with insight, emotion, and revelation, yet unsure how to carry those moments into their everyday lives. What became unmistakably clear is that the ceremony is only the beginning. True healing unfolds through integration, through making meaning of the experience, embodying its lessons, and allowing those insights to gently reshape how we live, relate, and show up in the world. Supporting that process has become my deepest passion.
I also come to this work as a mother. Raising a teenage daughter has brought both immense joy and real challenges, and like many families, we have navigated our own mental health struggles along the way. These experiences have deepened my compassion for the complexity of being human. For me personally, plant medicine work has been profoundly transformative and has played a significant role in my own healing and growth.
Academically, I am completing my degree in Integrative Psychology (May 2026), a field that explores the mind through multiple lenses — psychological, somatic, spiritual, and cultural. Additionally, I bring years of personal experience working with a variety of plant medicines, almost all of which are listed and discussed within this site. Outside of this practice, I have been working in the mental health and addiction treatment field for a number of years, supporting individuals and families navigating recovery and healing.
Today, my work centers on helping people bridge the gap between powerful inner experiences and grounded daily life. Integration is where insights become embodiment, where understanding turns into lasting change.
My intention is simple: to create a space where people feel safe bringing their whole selves — their insights, their confusion, their breakthroughs, and their vulnerabilities. Healing is rarely linear, and you don’t have to navigate it alone.
When I’m not working, you'll likely find me taking a hot yoga or pilates class, visiting the coast, or basking in my favorite place on earth, the Redwoods of Northern California. These trees offer a sense of serenity and safety that keep me grounded long after leaving their mystical presence.
